More About Me

I first became acquainted with the Palm Springs desert area in the early 1990's when I started vacationing here to escape the dreary Seattle winters.  In 2010, my husband and I decided this was the perfect place to retire.  The desert has so much to offer, from golf to cultural events; it is everything we could want.  An added benefit is how close we are to Los Angeles, San Diego and all of the beach communities in between.  And of course, I see all of my vacationing Seattle friends all winter long!

I have been involved in real estate most of my adult life, first through my husband's land development consulting firm in Seattle and now through selling real estate in the desert.  A lover of houses, my husband and I have bought and sold seven homes between us and built two custom homes together.

I believe that real estate is all about customer service.  Whether one is buying or selling, it is the agent's job to make sure that the customer's goals are achieved and to facilitate that process.

If you are a buyer, I want to understand your vision for your new home.  What areas do you like, what are your "must have" features and what is your budget?  By truly understanding these criteria, I can scour the many listings and present to you those that fulfill you desires.

If you are a seller, you undoubtedly want to get top dollar for your home, and it is my job to help you achieve that goal.  Selling is all about marketing, and through Coldwell Banker I have access to many marketing outlets.  By advertising your home (both online and in print) and holding open houses as appropriate, I can make sure that all of the area agents and buyers are aware that your home is for sale and greatly improve the odds of selling your property quickly.

In both buying and selling, negotiation is key.  I have had a lot of experience in this area and know that timely responses and working well with other agents is one of my primary responsibilities.  The most important quality I bring to this process is communication.
